Description
East Fork Campground at Lavon Lake is just 45 minutes outside of Dallas, TX. Visitors both young and young at heart enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. Camping, fishing, boating, biking, and picnicking are all favorite pastimes. The campground offers 50 sites with water and electric hookups and 12 tent only sites. Additional amenities include hot showers, a dump station, a boat launch, a group shelter and public telephones. The shelter is available year round.
Reservation can only be made trough call center and web. Walkins are available through the park.
Directions
From Wylie, TX, take Highway 78 east to FM 389 (Eubanks). Go north on FM 389, stay to the right at the fork in the road and continue on FM 389. FM 389 will dead-end into East Fork Park.

Hackberry Ridge is located inside of Avalon Park.
From Wylie Texas: go north on SH78, take left on Eubanks and right on Skyview Dr. Avalon Park will be on the left side of the road.
From Lavon: go south on SH78 approximately 2 miles, turn right at Dam and Lake Lavon Dam sign. At the T take a left and drive approximately .5 mile and Avalon Park is on the right.
The Pavilion is located in the east end of the park
