Bluffview Park is located on the southwest side of B.A. Steinhagen Lake, in the town of Town Bluff TX. Bluffview Park is a Day Use Park that offers numerous picnic sites (some covered) as well as 1 large covered group shelter (with electricity and water, flush toilet in park adjacent to shelter). Includes parking area for visitors fishing down at the dam. The price for the shelter is $45/day. The person making the reservation should contact the Town Bluff Project Office at 409-429-3491.
Directions
From Woodville, TX go east on US 190 11 miles to the intersection of FM 92(caution light). Turn south on FM 92 and go 5 miles to the park on the left, just north of the project office.
Description
Sandy Creek Park is located on the southeast side of B.A. Steinhagen Lake, between the towns of Woodville and Jasper in southeast Texas. The area provides the ideal setting to fish, camp, boat, or just get away from it all. Sandy Creek Park is an overnight campground that offers 72 campsites, 66 sites with water and electric hookups. Other facilities include a volleyball court and fishing docks.
Directions
From Jasper, TX, go west on US 190 10 miles to FM 777. Turn south on FM 777 and travel 2 miles to County Road 155. Turn west on County Road 155 and travel 2.5 miles. Park signs will lead to the campground entrance. Follow signs into the campground.
