The Hosta Whirlwind, 'Hosta', has upright pointed leaves that are twisted and folded. The creamy yellow to white centers and dark green margins give ΅Whirlwind¦ its name. The lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta¦s are not known for their flowers. With a plant height of 24χ and a spread of 36χ, Hosta¦s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. A great choice for any beginner gardener.
