Description
Lake Shore Group Camp is designated for tent camping by small groups of up to 50 people. In the Parking area small RV's and pop-ups campers are also allowed. All vehicles must stay in the established parking area . No gasoline motors are allowed on this peaceful 12-acre lake. All temporary, homemade signs must be removed by check-out time. Practice a "Leave No Trace" ethic; make it hard for others to see or hear you and leave no trace of your visit.

From I-75 (west of Ocala) (exit 352 onto SR40 East) from downtown Ocala, take SR40 East 10 miles to CR314. Turn left on CR314 and go 6 miles (look for the Lake Shore sign 1/4 mile past the Fore Lake Recreation area entrance), turn left onto 147th Avenue Road (look for the Lake Shore sign and entrance on left).

Description
The Mill Dam Group Camp is designated for camping by group of up to 150 people. All vehicles must stay in the established parking area (including RV's, pop-up campers and trailers). This is a tent camping only site. There is no camping on/in the beach area. Alcohol and pets are prohibited. Gasoline motors are allowed on this lake as well as jet ski's and water skiing. The parking fee at the boat camp is waived only when parking vehicles and trailers in the group camp parking lot. All temporary, homemade signs MUST BE removed by checkout time. Practice a "Leave No Trace" ethic; make it hard for others to see or hear and leave no trace of your visit.
NOTE:
Reservations are taken from January - March 15 and October - December 31.
During March 16 - September 30 sites are available for first come - first serve basis for day-use only.

Mill Dam is located just off of Highway 40, approximately 15 miles east of Silver Springs, Florida, and 50 miles west of Ormond Beach, Florida. Look for the MillDam/Half Moon signs 1/4 mile away from the recreational area turn-offs.
