The Sagina Golden Scotch Moss, 'Sagina subulata', is one of the most popular ground covers around. The lush, yellow-green foliage stays compact and produces tiny white flowers. It is extremely dense and spready by creeping stems to form it mossy carpet. ΅Golden Scotch Moss¦ is not known for its flowering but its foliage. The tiny white flowers will appear late spring into early summer. Use ΅Golden Irish Moss between paving stones, rock walls, as an edging plant or as a small-scale groundcover.
