Denby Point campground is located on Lake Ouachita. The lake at normal power pool extends approximately 30 miles and has a water surface of 40,000 acres. Visitors enjoy fishing, skiing, scuba diving, boating, and other water activities. Bald Eagles are an attraction for the visitors during the winter. The campground consists of 67 sites, 59 with electric hookups. The Denby Point also has 2 group camping areas, one with 6 sites and the other with 7. Other amenities include a dump station, fish cleaning station, hot showers, boat ramp, and a swim beach.
Directions
From Hot Springs, AR: Take US 270 west approx. 26.5 miles to Ouachita Shore Parkway. Turn right and follow access road 1 mile north to park. From Mount Ida, AR: Take US 270 east approximately 9.5 miles to Oachita Shores Parkway. Turn left on access road 1 mile to park.

Joplin Campground is located on Lake Ouachita in Arkansas. The lake at normal power pool extends approximately 30 miles and has a water surface of 40,000 acres. Visitors enjoy fishing, skiing, scuba diving, boating, and other water activities. Bald Eagles are an attraction for the visitors during the winter. The campground consists of 64 sites, 62 with electric hookups. The campsites do not have water connections but a water faucet is located in each loop of sites for camper use. Other amenities include a dump station, fish cleaning station, hot showers, boat ramp and a swim beach.

From Hot Springs, AR: Take US 270 west approx. 23.5 miles to Mountain Harbor Road. Turn right and follow access road 3 miles north to the park.
