Plant in early spring as soon as soil temperatures rise above 40 degrees. Successive plantings every ten days will prolong radish harvest. Radishes prefer loose, light soil, with a fair amount of organic material. Harvest radish when 3 to 4 inches long. Bigger radishes are pithy or hot.
