Naturehills.com carries thousands of products including the Oriental Spruce
from the Trees family.
The Spruce, Oriental, Picea orientalis, is a slow-growing spruce, reaching 60 feet after 60 years. It has a dense, narrow, columnar habit and pendulous branches. Oriental Spruce is a tall, symmetrical tree with attractive pinkish gray bark that cracks and exfoliates when mature. Its needles are glossy, dark green, with stomatic lines on both sides. It won't need any pruning, so let it grow into its natural, graceful shape. Oriental Spruce tolerates poor gravelly soil, but needs protection from harsh winds. In extreme cold it can develop brown tip burn. It prefers full sun to partial shade and is a lovely specimen tree for smaller properties.
