Fall Bulbs - Iris
The Iris 'Mount Everest', 'Iris hollandica', a fall planted bulb, is a bright and airy dutch iris that resembles a bird in flight. Its unmatched presence is an elegant addition to any garden. The exquisite white flowers rest atop sturdy stems. The sword-like leaves add oft-lacking vertical lines to the garden. Despite their name, these irises never grew wild in the Netherlands. For a more striking effect, plant the bulbs in groups of 20 or more. The Iris plant is great for borders, containers, naturalizing, and cut flowers. They are deer, rabbit and squirrel resistant.
