Elevation 5000 feet. Indian Creek Corridor is 8640 acres of rocky red canyon country currently being considered an area of environmental concern in order to preserve its scenic status.
Directions
Head south from Moab on US 191 to the south entrance to Canyonlands National Park (UT 211). Head west past Newspaper Rock State Park approximately 3 miles watch for Beef Basin Road on left. Follow road southwest approximately 8 miles to Indian Creek Corridor.
Description
Elevation 5400 feet. 14 campsites across the road from Newspaper Rock State Park, where a spectacular petroglyph panel is preserved. Convenient access to Canyonlands National Park, Canyon Rims Recreation Area, and Indian Creek Recreation Area.
Directions
From Monticello go 15 miles north on US 191, then 13 miles west on UT 211.
