The Anemone 'St. Brigid', ' Anemone coronaria', a fall planted tuber, features a delightful combination of mixed colors of bright red, blue, white, and lavender flowers with black centers and bold markings.. They are loved in gardens and arrangements for their large, richly colored blooms. Anemones grow well in southern climates.The St. Brigid Anemone will flower for 2 to 3 weeks in the summer. Anemones are great for containers, cut flowers and borders. Note: Soak the tuber in tepid water for about 12 hours before planting to promote early sprouting.
