Go 2 miles east of Detroit on Highway 22. Turn onto Blowout Road #10, then go 0.75 miles west to the Hoover Group Site.
FISHERMENS BEND (OR)
Description
Fishermen's Bend Recreation Site is located 29 miles East of Salem on Highway 22 and about 1.5 miles West of Mill City. The park covers 170 acres along the North Santiam River. It has multiple recreational opportunities including: 12 reservable campsites, 39 first come-first served campsites, 3 reservable group campsites, 3 reservable group picnic sites and 2 reservable cabins. A boat ramp, family picnic sites, trails, playgrounds and other related amenities round out this unique facility. Numerous other outdoor recreational opportunities are within a 30 mile radius. All sites have electric and sewer hookups, some with water. Non-reservable family campsites cost less per night than reservable campsitess. Call the park for price information regarding the "first come first serves" sites.
