Melvern Lake covers approximately 7,000 acres of water and 18,000 acres of land open for public use. Outlet Park offers 150 camp sites (61 with electric and water hook-ups and 89 with electric, water, and sewer hook-ups), a reservable group picnic shelter, a boat ramp, and numerous individual picnic sites. Other amenities include three shower buildings, sanitary dump station, pay phone, swimming beach with change house and showers, a stocked fishing pond, vault toilets and waterborne restrooms, a ballfield, a handicapped accessible fishing dock, an amphitheater, three miles of nature trails, a courtesy dock with fish cleaning station, and a playground,Pavilion with men's and women's restrooms, serving table and grill.
