On the eastern edge of Kansas' Flinthills Region, Outlet Park is on Melvern Lake. It draws outdoor enthusiasts from a wide range off disciplines. Melvern Lake covers approximately 7,000 acres of water and 18,000 acres of land open for public use. Outlet Park offers 150 camp sites (61 with electric and water hook-ups and 89 with electric, water, and sewer hook-ups), a reservable group picnic shelter, a boat ramp, and numerous individual picnic sites. Other amenities include three shower buildings, sanitary dump station, pay phone, swimming beach with change house and showers, a stocked fishing pond, vault toilets and waterborne restrooms, a ballfield, a handicapped accessible fishing dock, an amphitheater, three miles of nature trails, a courtesy dock with fish cleaning station, and a playground,Pavilion with men's and women's restrooms, serving table and grill.

From US-75, Melvern exit, 1/4 mile west on Melvern Lake Parkway to cut-off rd, then 1/4 miles west to River Pond Parkway (campground road), then 1/2 mile north.

Arrow Rock Park offers 45 campsites (24 with electric/water hook-ups), a group picnic shelter, boat ramp, and numerous individual picnic sites. Other amenities include a shower building, sanitary dump station, several vault toilets, courtesy dock with fish cleaning station, and a playground.
