Description
Located on the west side of beautiful Clinton Lake, Cedar Ridge Campground offers nearly 100 campsites with electric and water hookups. Each site provides a picnic table, grill, and lantern hanger. Amenities within the campground include laundry facilities, hot showers, pay phone, playground, and horseshoe pit. Facilities outside the campground, but within the park, include 3 boat launch ramps, swimming beach, picnic area, and a dump station.
Directions
From Lawrence take 6th Street west (Highway 40), approximately 3 miles. Take a left turn onto County Rd 442 and go west about 5 miles to Stull. Make a left turn onto County Road 1023, go south about 6 miles to County Road 6, turn left and go about 3.5 miles to the park entrance.
Description
Located on the west side of beautiful Clinton Lake. Bloomington West Group Campground offers a large area with 25 campsites (no hookups). The area also provides a large shower building, group picnic shelter, horseshoe pit, sand volleyball court, playground, and softball field. A boat ramp is located within 1/4 mile of the campground to launch vessels. Each of the 25 campsites are approximately 60 feet in length.
Directions
From Lawrence, KS take 6th St. (hwy 40) west for 4 miles. Take a left onto Douglas Co. Rd. 442 and go 5 miles to Stull, KS. Take a left onto Douglas Co. Rd. 1023 and go 6 miles to Douglas Co. Rd. 6. Make a left turn on 6 and go 4 miles to Douglas Co. Rd. 4. Make a right turn and go 1/2 mile to the first gravel road to the left and turn left. Go 1/4 mile to the park entrance. Gate to campground is on left side of road.
