Unity Dam and Reservoir are features of the Burnt River Project. Located on the Burnt River Unity Reservoir is about 40 miles southwest of Baker, Oregon. The reservoir has a water surface area of 926 acres and 10 miles of shoreline. Anglers will find rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, and black crappie. Season open year-round. Unity Reservoir Boat Ramps

Two Color Guard Station is located adjacent to the Wild and Scenic Eagle Creek, surrounded by rugged mountains, away from the sights and sounds of others, and with all the comforts of home! Incredible beauty lies at your back door, and comfortable accommodations for 12 await inside. Experience Two Color Guard Station during the alpine winter when it is accessible only by snowmobile via a network of backcountry groomed trails. The cabin is near Main Eagle Trailhead, West Eagle Trailhead, Boulder Park Campground, Catherine Creek SnoPark Trail Network, and Eagle Cap Wilderness at 4825 feet elevation. ATTRACTIONS: Two Color Guard Station is more than a cabin in the woods, it's a small lodge. At the Guard Station you will find most utensils for cooking and eating, a gas stove, comfortable furnishings, enough beds to sleep a dozen, and indoor plumbing during the summer. The Guard Station faces Eagle Creek, has a spacious yard for outdoor activities, and a corral large enough for several stock animals. The Guard Station is 2 miles from the Boulder Park Trailhead, where trails lead into the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Abundantly stocked rainbow trout swim in Eagle Creek, just 150 feet from the Guard Station's front door. During the winter months you will find miles of designated snowmobile trails for snowmobiling, Nordic skiing or snow shoeing (NOTE: The Eagle Cap Wilderenss is closed to all motorized vehicles yearlong). Operation information on how to use, clean and trouble-shoot any problems at the cabin is provided on-site. Facilities include: 10 fold-out cots, one twin bed, flush toilet(summer), heated shower(summer), propane lights, propane heat stove, lights, refrigerator, cook stove, table chairs and basic cooking utensils, outdoor toilet. Garbage service(please Pack-it in, Pack-it out) and during Non-Peak Season water is not provide at cabin during Peak season potable water is provided at site.

From La Grande, Oregon travel east on Highway 203 to Union. From Union follow Highway 203 to Medical Springs. Go straight through Medical Springs and take County Road 71 until it turns into Forest Service road (FSR) 67 and follow until the FSR 77 road jct. Take the FSR 77 road and turn left on the FSR 7755 jct. Go straight on FSR 7755 approx 2 miles past the Two Color Campground to the cabin which is on the right. Driving time in the summer months from Boise, Idaho is about 3.5 hours; from Portland it is about 6.5 hours.
