RATCLIFF LAKE RECREATION AREA (TX)

Description
Temperatures moderate to cool from September through May. Hot and humid from June through August. Pets must be on a leash at all times. No alcohol, no pets on beach. Swimming, boating (no gas motors), picnicking, hiking, fishing. Location approx. 15 miles east of Crockett, TX on State Hwy 7 east. Paved roads & camp spurs. Area has hardwoods and pines. Campground surrounds a small 45 acre lake. Central timezone. Electrical Spurs will accommodate vehicles up to 50' in length by backing over tent pad area. A total of 77 campsites. 26 sites have electric hookups. Year round camping. Campsites MUST be occupied the first night and the site or equipment cannot be left unoccupied or unattended for more than 24 hours. Each campsite is limited to 8 persons and 1 RV (5th wheeled trailer, motorhome, trailer or pop-up) unit or 2 tents. Each vehicle (camp trailer considered 1 vehicle) over 2 per site will be charged an additional fee of $3.00 per night and may need to park in parking lot across from concession area. Fire permitted in fire rings only.
