The Hyacinth 'Jan Bos' 'Hyacinthus orientalis', is a fall planted bulb. Jan Bos has a carmine-red color, which is unique among Hyacinths. This classic variety features a compact, densely-flowered spike of strongly-scented blooms. It is an excellent variety for vibrant color in your garden. Grow them in or outdoors for their graceful shape, long-lasting blooms and sweet scent. For the best effects, plant the bulbs in clusters of 5 to 15 bulbs of one variety, or scatter clusters throughout the garden or flower border. These plants are deer, squirrel and rabbit resistant.
