SQUAW LAKES (OR)
Description
Squaw Lakes Camping is Walk-in ONLY. Vehicles are parked outside the gate area, and all personal belongings must be hiked into the camping area. There is no exceptions to the policy. Open seasonally from May-15 through Sep-15. Advance Reservations must be made via this website. You need to reserve your campsite at least 3-days prior to arrival, otherwise you will be locked out from making an online reservation. If you missed your "reservation-window" you may check availability by calling 541-899-9220. Due to the remote location of Squaw Lakes, CHECK-IN at the campground is currently not available. Prior to crossing the dam and driving up the mountain road, we recommend that you check-in at Hart-Tish Park General Store at Applegate Lake. It's just 3/4 of a mile past the dam on the left hand side. Your check-in will be quick and easy, and also you can get last minute supplies you may have forgotten. Do not proceed to Squaw Lakes without a copy of your reservation confirmation in-hand. Our Camp-host routinely checks each campsite for proper documentation. Failure to provide your confirmation, may result in your departure from the park. Don't ruin your weekend, please have your paperwork in-hand. Please use the new BROWN bear-proof garbage containers for trash. Please use the new TAN bear-proof containers (located near the picnic tables) for FOOD ONLY. Please cleanout the TAN container prior to your departure, so that other campers may use this convenience. Please pack-out any additional trash. HART-TISH PARK @ APPLEGATE LAKE
Description
This is a new facility to the NRRS system. Currently, this Campground is unavailable for reservations. Please check back later. Our facility includes (8) lakeside RV spots for dry-RV camping (no-hookups), and (8) traditional tent campsites. We have (2) full service restrooms and drinking water is available. This is the main facility on Applegate Lake, and thus, it offers tons of amenities: Biking, Hiking, Beach Swimming, Kayak Rentals, Boat Launch & Ramp, Fishing, Nature Trails, and a well-stocked General Store
