The German Iris 'Cantina', Iris germanica, has a reddish violet with blue center, and has a grape fragrance. Also known as ""Bearded Iris"", it is outstanding for its unusual color, design, and sturdy, vigorous growth habit. It is a hardy, disease and drought-resistant plant. Long blooming in late spring and early summer, with handsome green sword-like foliage, 'Cantina' enjoys full or part sun and well-drained soil. Plant about 15-18 inches apart.
