CANYON FERRY LAKE
Description
Canyon Ferry Dam and lake are located in Montana about 50 miles downstream from where the Gallatin, Madison, and Jefferson Rivers join to form the Missouri River. This lake, with 35,181 surface acres and 76 shoreline miles, offers excellent fishing opportunity for rainbow trout, perch, ling, and walleye. Concrete boat ramps, campgrounds, day-use areas, shelters, swimming, and three marinas. The visitor center is currently closed to the public. Canyon Ferry Unit is part of the Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Program.The site is one of the best in the country for viewing large concentrations of Bald Eagles. A wildlife management area at the end of the reservoir is managed by the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks and is home to a colony of terns and pelicans. Barrow's Goldeneyes winter along the Missouri River. The upland areas around the reservoir provide habitat for Chestnut-collared Longspurs and Long-billed Curlews, as well as hundreds of Pronghorn antelope. Goose Bay, along the eastern shore of Canyon Ferry has a new boat ramp which is 130 feet long and 32 feet wide and will accommodate the launching of two boats at one time and is next to a 44 foot courtesy dock. The ramp is long enough to allow boats to to launched at reservoir levels as low as 3,787 feet. Current Reservoir Levels

WILLOW CREEK RESERVOIR
Description
Willow Creek Dam, a part of the Sun River Project, is an earthfill structure on Willow Creek about 15 miles southeast of Gibson Dam. This reservoir, with 1,530 surface acres and 11 shoreline miles, offers fishing for rainbow trout and kokanee salmon.
