Description
Wall Creek is a popular cabin especially for hunters. It is located near the Wall Creek Game Management area south of Ennis, Montana. The cabin is in a popular area for viewing elk during the fall. There are three buildings at the site: a barn, main house and the cabin. Only the cabin is available for public use. The facility was a ranger station until the 1940's. Directions
Access is via the Mcatee bridge turn off from US highway 287, about 21 miles south of Ennis, Montana. Directional signs to Wall Creek are evident at the junctions. After turning off highway 287, the road is gravel, which is passable by two-wheel drive when it is dry. To purchase the SW MT interagency visitor/travel east half map, call The Madison ranger district at 406-682-4253.
