Naturehills.com carries thousands of products including the Daffodil - Split Corona - Tritomba
from the Fall Flower Bulbs family.
The Split Corona Daffodil 'Tritomba', Narcissus Split Corona 'Tritomba', is a stunning Butterfly Daffodil with white petals nearly obscured by a bright open cup that is yellow in the center and fades to deep peach at the edges . These flowers can easily be mistaken for butterflies at a distance! Imagine the lavish host of color these beautiful daffodils will bring to your garden! These daffodils make excellent cut flowers and look exquisite in a vase.
The term corona refers to the cup (or trumpet) of the daffodil. The cup is split for at least one-half its length, creating an open, up-facing blossom, instead of the typical trumpet. As a result, many of the flowers look more like a Hibiscus than they do a daffodil. These are some of the showiest daffodils ever, especially for mass plantings. They are excellent as cut flowers and always a highlight in flower arrangements. Plant in the fall before the ground freezes, but late enough that the bulb will not begin to grow. When deciding where to plant, remember that their little faces will follow the sun.
