Open from May 1st to Veterans Day Nancytown Group Campground is located on the Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area (WMA) near Cornelia, GA. The campground is conveniently located amidst 4-"Foot Only" Trails within the WMA and offers camping experiences for groups up to 50 people. The campground offers restrooms (SST), 10 tent pads, hand pump for drinking water, group cooking and eating areas, amphitheater, a fire ring, and a covered stone shelter containing one large picnic table, grill and fireplace.

Getting There From Interstate 85 in Georgia Merge onto I-985 N / GA-365 N via EXIT 113 on the LEFT toward GAINESVILLE. I-985 will eventually become GA Highways 441/365. Take GA Hwy 365N to Cornelia for 5-miles. Take the Clarkesville - Hwy 197 Exit and make right at Stop Sign. At the third Stop Sign make right onto Dick's Hill Parkway. Drive approximately 1-mile and make left onto Lake Russell Road. Follow to the bottom of the hill and make left into the Nancytown Group Camping Area.
Description
Anna Ruby Falls is one of the most outstanding recreational sites in the forest. Its twin waterfalls, hiking trails, picnic area, visitor center and easy access from the nearby town of Helen, GA make it the single most visited national forest facility in Georgia. It's normal hours are from 9:00 a.m. until dusk.
Directions
North of Helen, Georgia on State Highway 75 then east at Robertstown on State Highway 356, left past Unicoi State Park to end of the road.
