COOPER CREEK SOUTH (AK)
Description
Located adjacent to the Kenai River and Cooper Creek. This beautiful wooded area has great mountain views. Red salmon fishing is a popular activity. Firewood is sold at the campground. Parking is limited.

From Anchorage, go south on Seward Highway to Sterling Highway. Turn towards Soldotna at the Y. Cooper Creek Campground is at Milepost 50.7 of the Sterling Highway on the opposite side from the river.
