Naturehills.com carries thousands of products including the Allium - Blue Drumstick
from the Fall Flower Bulbs family.
The Allium 'Blue Drumstick', Allium, has unusual flax-blue flower heads, approximately 1 1/2"" in diameter. It will tolerate poor garden soil; once established it will naturalize easily. Blue Drumstick is resistant to deer and makes excellent cut flowers.
Easy to grow in any sunny, well-drained location, so plant them in groups of ten or more for an eye catching focal point. Divide mature clumps in August if areas become overcrowded. Alliums prefer to be dry during their dormancy. Blue Drumstick is ideal for containers, mass plantings, borders, and cut flowers. These plants are rabbit, squirrel, and deer resistant. It has a bloom period of about 3 weeks and they bloom in late spring to early summer.
